And during their panel, the Russo brothers said that their AGBO Studios is in development on an adaptation of the Japanese anime series Battle of the Planets and an Amazon Prime Video series based on the graphic novel Grimjack.
21 Bridges, meanwhile, is scheduled for a September 27, 2019 release. Directed by Brian Kirk (Luther, Game of Thrones), the movie follows an embattled NYPD detective (Chadwick Boseman) who is thrust into a citywide manhunt for a pair of cop killers after uncovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy. As the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing, and who is in pursuit of him. When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.
The film also stars Sienna Miller, Stephan James, Keith David, Taylor Kitsch, and J.K. Simmons. The screenplay was written by Adam Mervis and Matthew Michael Carnahan. Boseman is producing with Anthony and Joe Russo, as well as Mike Larocca, Gigi Pritzker, and Logan Coles.
