Horizon Zero Dawn PC Release Date Set for August

-

In a new video, Guerrilla Games has revealed the Horizon Zero Dawn PC release date and more details about the Complete Edition. The game has been a PlayStation 4 exclusive, but now the Horizon Zero Dawn PC release date has been set for August 7, 2020.

The video shows the PC release will have ultra-wide support, unlocked frame rates, and dynamic foliage. It also shows the graphical customization, improved reflections, controller options, and the benchmarking tool.

Horizon Zero Dawn (check price at Amazon) was released on February 28, 2017 to widespread critical acclaim, winning numerous industry awards. The game has sold over 10 million copies, making it one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games.

Horizon Zero Dawn is an exhilarating action role playing game where you play as Aloy, a young hunter on a quest to discover her destiny among the remnants of the ancient past. The game is set in a lush, post-post-apocalyptic world where machines roam the land and mankind is no longer the dominant species.

In the world, nature has reclaimed the ruins of a forgotten civilization and pockets of humanity live on in primitive hunter-gatherer tribes. Their dominion over the new wilderness has been usurped by the Machines – fearsome mechanical creatures of unknown origin.

The Complete Edition includes Horizon Zero Dawn, the Frozen Wilds expansion, Carja Storm Ranger Outfit and Carja Mighty Bow, Carja Trader Pack, Banuk Trailblazer Outfit and Banuk Culling Bow, Banuk Traveller Pack, Nora Keeper Pack, and digital art book.

The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, titled Horizon Forbidden West, will be coming to the PlayStation 5 in 2021. In the first game, the Forbidden West is the Carja name given to the land west of the daunt, which spans from Utah to the Pacific Ocean in the West. The region is known for its mystery and danger.

Horizon Forbidden West continues Aloy’s story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.
