Watch the Bloody Origins in the New Trailer for The King’s Man

Disney’s 20th Century Studios has released the new King’s Man trailer and poster, which preview the anticipated prequel coming to theaters on September 18, 2020. The movie was originally going to be released on November 15, 2019 and was then pushed back to February 14, 2020. Moviegoers will now get to see it this fall.

The King’s Man is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.

In The King’s Man, as a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency.

Matthew Vaughn, David Reid and Adam Bohling are the producers, and Mark Millar, Dave Gibbons, Stephen Marks, Claudia Vaughn and Ralph Fiennes serve as executive producers.

The King’s Man is based on the comic book The Secret Service by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, and the story is by Matthew Vaughn and the screenplay is by Matthew Vaughn & Karl Gajdusek.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (buy at Amazon) introduced the world to Kingsman in 2014. In 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle (buy at Amazon), our heroes face a new challenge when their headquarters is destroyed and the world is held hostage.

Their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, and these two elite, secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy in order to save the world.

The Secret Service cost $81 million to make and grossed $414.4 million worldwide, while The Golden Circle cost $104 million and earned $410.9 million globally.
