The Final Cycle Begins in the Dark Season 3 Trailer

-

The final cycle is about to begin. Netflix has revealed the official Dark Season 3 trailer, which you can watch using the player below. The third and final season will launch on the streaming service Saturday, June 27.

Dark is a family saga set in a German town in present day where the disappearance of two young children exposes the double lives and fractured relationships among four families. The story takes on a supernatural twist that ties back to the same town in 1986.

In the second season, Jonas finds himself trapped in the future and desperately tries to return to 2020. Meanwhile, his friends Martha, Magnus, and Franziska are trying to uncover how Bartosz’ is involved in the mysterious incidents occurring in their small hometown of Winden.

More and more people are drawn into the events orchestrated by an obscure figure who seemingly controls everything that is connected throughout different time zones.

In the third and final season, Dark reaches its mind-bending conclusion, moving beyond the concept of space and time. Upon arrival in a new world, Jonas tries to make sense of what this rendition of Winden means for his own fate, while the ones left behind in the other world are left on a quest to break the loop that now not only bends time but also space.

Two worlds. Light and dark. And in the center a tragic love story of epic proportions.

The first season of the series launched on Netflix December 1st, 2017. Prior to the release of the second season on June 21, 2019, the series was renewed for a third and final season. The third season began filming in late June 2019.

The acclaimed German drama is created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. It is one of the most-watched entirely non-English shows on Netflix.

The award-winning mystery series Dark transcended bordes and connected with audiences around the world. The established ensemble cast is joined by Sandra Borgmann, Winfried Glatzeder, Dietrich Hollinderbäumer and Sylvester Groth.

The first season consisted of 10 episodes, while the second season was eight episodes long. Have you watched the first two seasons? Are you looking forward to Dark Season 3? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
