Sony Pictures Moves Back Its 2020 Summer Movies and More

-

With movie theaters closed for a long time, Sony Pictures is not taking any chances with its upcoming slate and has made some big changes to its schedule today. The studio announced today it is moving back all its summer movies and has made changes to its fall and 2021 schedule as well.

Now that Sony has pushed back its summer movies, that leaves only films such as Soul (June 19), Top Gun: Maverick (June 24), Free Guy (July 3), Tenet (July 17), Jungle Cruise (July 24), and Wonder Woman 1984 (August 14) to bring in box office numbers for the season. But it’s not a certainty that those movies will remain on those dates either.
