Bad Trip Trailer Features Real People and Real Pranks

Orion Pictures has released the new Bad Trip trailer in two versions, as well as the poster for the upcoming release. The hidden camera comedy features Eric Andre, Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish

The comedian-actors star in the wildly inventive film as best friends embarking on an unexpected road trip filled with crazy hijinks all while pulling a real-life audience into the mayhem.

The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai (The Eric Andre Show) from the minds of Dan Curry, Kitao Sakurai, and Eric Andre – and produced by Jeff Tremaine, Dave Bernad, and Ruben Fleischer.

“Eric and Rel’s hilarious performances combined with spectacular, groundbreaking pranks will make ‘Bad Trip’ the defining prank movie for a new generation. We’re incredibly proud to debut the next in line to ‘Borat’ and ‘Bad Grandpa,’” Bernad and Fleischer said previously.

Bad Trip

Bad Trip is the first hidden-camera narrative film released in theaters since Paramount debuted Bad Grandpa in 2013. Bad Grandpa, which starred Johnny Knoxville, was made for $15 million and grossed $151 million worldwide.

The film stars Eric Andre (The Eric Andre Show, The Lion King), Lil Rel Howery (Uncle Drew, Get Out) and Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip, Night School).

Orion was re-launched in 2017 by Metro Goldwyn Mayer as a standalone U.S. theatrical marketing and distribution company.
