The film stars Morfydd Clark, Jennifer Ehle, Lilly Frazer, Lily Knight, Marcus Hutton, Turlough Convery, and Rosie Sansom.
Saint Maud had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2019. It also screened at Fantastic Fest on September 19, 2019 and the BFI London Film Festival on October 5, 2019. It is scheduled to be released in the UK on May 1, 2020 by StudioCanal.
The film was developed by Escape Plan Productions and fully financed by Film4 Productions and the British Film Institute. The producers are Andrea Cornwell and Oliver Kassman.
