Strike Back Season Seven Coming to Cinemax in February


Cinemax has announced that Strike Back Season Seven, the final season of the series, will premiere on Friday, February 14 (10:00–11:00 p.m. ET/PT). The series will also be available on MAX GO, CINEMAX On Demand and partners’ streaming platforms.

Starring Warren Brown (Luther, The Dark Knight Rises), Daniel MacPherson (A Wrinkle in Time), Alin Sumarwata (Neighbours, Burning Man), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica, Monday Mornings), Varada Sethu (Now Your See Me 2), and new cast members Alec Secăreanu (God’s Own Country, Baptiste) and Ivana Miličević (CINEMAX’s Banshee, Gotham), Strike Back follows the explosive escapades of Section 20, an elite, multinational, covert special ops team, as it spans the globe fighting a vast web of interconnected criminal and terrorist activity.

“Strike Back established Cinemax as a destination for adrenalized, entertaining action series nearly a decade ago,” Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and Cinemax Programming, said previously. “It is with sincere gratitude for the service of all of the past and present members of Section 20 – both in front of and behind the camera – that we send the team of on one last mission to save the world from annihilation.”

Showrunner Jack Lothian added, “I am delighted we’re coming back for a final season. Strike Back is a show that’s always raised the bar for small-screen action, and we’re looking forward to doing that one last time. There are plenty of twists and turns ahead, but I can promise one thing – we’re going out with a bang.”

Strike Back is a CINEMAX Presentation in association with Sky; a Left Bank Pictures Production. Cameron Roach is executive producer for Sky. Andy Harries and Rob Bullock are executive producers for Left Bank Pictures. Jack Lothian is also an executive producer, Jack Lothian. The producers include Nuala O’Leary, Huberta Von Liel and Kristian Dench.
