International Ghostbusters: Afterlife Trailer Has an Extra Scene

-

Earlier this week, we got to see the first trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which is coming to theaters on July 10, 2020. Now, an international Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer has also been spotted that includes an extra scene at the end! While the trailer is in German, it’s mostly the same as the domestic trailer other than the additional scene.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Paul Rudd. Coon plays a mom named Callie, with Grace as her science-obsessed daughter Phoebe, and Wolfhard as gearhead son Trevor. Phoebe and Trevor’s school teacher, Mr. Grooberson (played by Paul Rudd), was a kid when the Manhattan Crossrip occurred and is excited to pass on what he knows.

The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan. It is produced by Ivan Reitman and executive produced by Dan Aykroyd, Gil Kenan, Jason Blumenfeld, and Michael Beugg. The movie is based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters (buy here), an Ivan Reitman film written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis.

Sigourney Weaver has previously said that she, Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd will be back, and Reitman hinted that Ernie Hudson will also return.
