Chris Pratt Shares The Tomorrow War Concept Art

-

AvengersGuardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt has taken to his Instagram account to share a first look at The Tomorrow War concept art! You can view the Tomorrow War concept art in his video below. The sci-fi action film was previously known as “Ghost Draft.”

“One of the biggest thrills of film production is seeing concept art work in various forms,” Pratt says in the post. “I grew up with a pencil in my hand. I drew everything- draw 50 horses, I copied images from comic books, marvel, dc, Conan, a lot of super heroes, plus characters from various RPGs like Rifts and Mech Warrior, I painted murals on my bedroom walls. I was always doodling. And i respect the hell out of free hand artists. So to see my face drawn on images such as the ones above is really surreal. Mad respect to the artists out there. And big ups to the kids out there drawing. Pencils and paper are cheap. Art is an amazing way to build confidence. This Christmas get your kid a pencil and sketch pad.”

In The Tomorrow War, the fate of a futuristic war rests upon one man’s abilities to confront the ghosts of his past. Humanity is losing to an alien invasion, so to fight back, scientists develop a way to draft soldiers from the past to fight the war.

The December 25, 2020 release will be directed by Chris McKay, who previously helmed The LEGO Batman Movie, from a script by Zach Dean and Bill Dubuque. In addition to Pratt, the cast includes Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Theo Von, Jasmine Mathews, Keith Powers, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Edwin Hodge, Seychelle Gabriel, Alan Trong, Chibuikem Uche, Alexis Louder, and Mike Mitchell.

Paramount Pictures will distribute The Tomorrow War, produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, David S. Goyer, Adam Kolbrenner, and Jules Daly. Skydance Media, Phantom Four Films, and Lit Entertainment Group are the production companies.
