A Look at the Friendships Made Throughout the Star Wars Saga

In addition to the Fortnite news, the above look at the friendships between the cast of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker debuted today to an enthusiastic audience during The Rise of Skywalker panel at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience 2019 (CCXP) held in São Paulo. The panel included director/writer J.J. Abrams, and actors Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac.

Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.

Abrams co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Terrio. The film stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Anthony Daniels, Naomi Ackie, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.

Composer John Williams, who has scored every chapter in the Star Wars saga since 1977’s A New Hope, returns to a galaxy far, far away with The Rise of Skywalker. The movie is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Michelle Rejwan, and executive produced by Callum Greene and Jason McGatlin.
