Servant Season 2 Given the Green Light by Apple TV+

-

M. Night Shyamalan was a guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday and the two talked about Shyamalan’s new Apple TV+ series Servant, which is premiering on the video subscription service on November 28. Before showing a clip, Fallon revealed that Apple has picked up Servant Season 2! You can watch the segment below and you can watch the previous trailers for the show here.

Servant, a new psychological thriller from Shyamalan (Glass, Split, The Sixth Sense), follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy creates a rift in their marriage and opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.

The series stars Toby Kebbell as Sean Turner, Lauren Ambrose as Dorothy Turner, Nell Tiger Free as Leanne Grayson, and Rupert Grint as Julian Pearce. The series was created by Tony Basgallop, who executive produces with Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black, and Steve Tisch.

The news of a Servant Season 2 follows the recent renewals of See, starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, the Hailee Steinfeld series Dickinson, and Ron Moore’s For All Mankind. The series The Morning Show, starring Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell, was previously given a two-season order.

Apple TV+ launched on November 1st in over 100 countries and regions. The service, offering original shows, movies and documentaries, is available on the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac and other platforms, including online at TV.Apple.com, for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial. Customers who purchase any iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch or Mac can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ for free. Through Family Sharing, up to six family members can share one Apple TV+ subscription.
