Amazon Studios has debuted the trailer for Les Misérables, France’s official submission for the Foreign Language Film competition at the 92nd Academy Awards. The film won the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
Opening in theaters on January 10, 2020, Les Misérables was directed by Ladj Ly from a script by Ly, Giordano Gederlini, and Alexis Maneti. The movie stars Damien Bonnard, Alexis Manenti, Djebril Zonga, Steve Tientcheu, and Jeanne Balibar.

When the trio finds themselves overrun during the course of an arrest, a drone begins filming every move they make.
The movie also stars Djebril Zonga, Issa Perica, Al-Hassan Ly, Almamy Kanoute, Nizar Ben Fatma, Raymond Lopez, Luciano Lopez, Jaihson Lopez, Omar Soumare, Sana Joachaim, and Lucas Omiri. The producers are Toufik Ayadi and Christophe Barral. The companies behind the film include SRAB Films, Rectangle Productions, Lyly Films, Canal+, Ciné+, Le Pacte, and Wild Bunch.
