Rise of Skywalker Locations and Characters Coming to Star Tours

-

Disney Parks announced today Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will receive a major update that will add Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker locations and characters to the attraction. The ride will be updated at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Tokyo Disneyland Park, and Disneyland Paris on December 20.

Among the Rise of Skywalker locations being added is Kef Bir, the ocean moon from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. You can check out the locale as it will appear in Star Tours in the concept art created by Kef Bir above.

When Star Tours opened at Disneyland in 1987, it was the beginning of a partnership between Lucasfilm and Disney Parks. When guests board Star Tours, they come face-to-face with beloved Star Wars characters like Princess Leia, Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, BB-8, and others as they voyage to distant worlds made famous in the films. This attraction immerses you in the Star Wars mythology for an unforgettable galactic adventure.

Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams join forces once again to take viewers on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the riveting conclusion of the seminal Skywalker saga, where new legends will be born and the final battle for freedom is yet to come.

Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Keri Russell, Joonas Suotamo, Kelly Marie Tran, and Billy Dee Williams, who will reprise his role as Lando Calrissian.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams, and Michelle Rejwan, and executive produced by Callum Greene and Jason McGatlin. The film opens in theaters on December 20, 2019.
