-

The CW has revealed the first Anti-Monitor photo! LaMonica Garrett will play the villain in Arrowverse’s upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. Garrett also plays his counterpart, The Monitor, on various The CW series. You can view the full Anti-Monitor photo in the gallery below.

In the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book published by DC Comics, written by Marv Wolfman and pencilled by George Pérez, the Anti-Monitor is unleashed on the DC Multiverse and begins to destroy the various Earths that it comprises. The heroes and villains of the Earths end up being united by the Spectre in order to battle the Anti-Monitor.

In related news, IGN is reporting that Detective Jim Corrigan, human host of the powerful cosmic entity known as the Spectre, will be played by Stephen Lobo (Continuum, Supernatural). Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased: “Fans of the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic know the Spectre plays a pivotal role. We’re thrilled Stephen is our Jim Corrigan.”

Lobo joins a growing cast that includes the multiple versions of Superman played by Tyler Hoechlin, Brandon Routh and Tom Welling, Elizabeth Tulloch and Erica Durance as the multiple Lois Lanes, Tom Cavanagh as Pariah, Audrey Marie Anderson as Harbinger, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Kevin Conroy as Bruce Wayne, Ashley Scott as Huntress, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, and many more.

The CW will present Crisis on Infinite Earths across five different episodes of the network’s hit superhero series and spanning two quarters (December 2019 and January 2020). Supergirl will kick things off on Sunday, December 8, and will be followed by Batwoman on Monday, December 9, and The Flash on Tuesday, December 10. Then the Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow crossover episodes will air on Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
