Apple TV+ has debuted the trailer for Truth Be Told, the drama series premiering on the streaming service on December 6.
Every truth has a consequence. When new evidence compels podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation, she comes face to face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Her investigation navigates urgent concerns about privacy, media and race.
Truth Be Told is created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman and stars Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul, Lizzy Caplan, Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood and Ron Cephas Jones.

Narrated by Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave, The Lion King), The Elephant Queen won the Cinema for Peace International Green Film Award of the Year. The film was previously an official selection at The 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and The 2018 BFI London Film Festival, as well as invited as a special selection to the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
Apple TV+ is Apple’s new video subscription service, which will feature original shows, movies and documentaries from the world’s most creative storytellers, and will launch on November 1st in the Apple TV app.
