Castle Rock Season 2 Poster Brings Nothing But Misery

-

Following the very cool 14-minute videoHulu has now also released the Castle Rock Season 2 poster, which features Stephen King’s nurse from hell from Misery, Annie Wilkes. In case you missed it, you can still watch the new trailer here as well.

Castle Rock Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 23 with the first three episodes and new episodes stream weekly on Wednesdays.

The 10-episode new season stars Lizzy Caplan, Tim Robbins, Paul Sparks, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi, Elsie Fisher and Matthew Alan. In season two of Castle Rock, a feud between warring clans comes to a boil when budding psychopath Annie Wilkes gets waylaid in Castle Rock.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories (Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption) are set in there.

The series is created and executive produced by showrunner Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw. J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, Vince Calandra, Stephen King and Liz Glotzer also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
