Castle Rock Season 2 Trailer Brings Annie Wilkes to Town

-

Hulu has shared the official Castle Rock Season 2 trailer, which you can watch below. Castle Rock Season 2 premieres Wednesday, Oct. 23 with the first three episodes. New episodes stream weekly on Wednesdays, only on Hulu.

In related news, Castle Rock will go live on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday, October 2, at 9 p.m. ET with a haunting, 13-minute drive that gives fans the driver’s seat view as the car winds through the woods en route to Jerusalem’s Lot, ultimately leading to an exclusive sneak peek at season two. Along the way, the viewer will see and hear easter eggs from the Stephen King and Bad Robot universes, in addition to a few hints at what’s to come this season.

The 10-episode new season stars Lizzy Caplan, Tim Robbins, Paul Sparks, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi, Elsie Fisher and Matthew Alan.

In season two of Castle Rock, a feud between warring clans comes to a boil when budding psychopath Annie Wilkes, Stephen King’s nurse from hell from Misery, gets waylaid in Castle Rock.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories (Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption) are set in there.

The series is created and executive produced by showrunner Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw. J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, Vince Calandra, Stephen King and Liz Glotzer also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
