New Terminator: Dark Fate Photos and Total Film Cover

-

Total Film has revealed the subscribers-only cover for their new issue that features the cast of Terminator: Dark Fate. The magazine has also released more Terminator: Dark Fate photos that you can view in the gallery below. If you missed them, you can watch the recently-released domestic and international trailers by clicking here.

Directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool), Terminator: Dark Fate has both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton returning to their iconic roles as The Terminator and Sarah Connor from the first two films. Edward Furlong will also return as John Connor in the film.

In the issue, Miller talks about the franchise: “I think the brand has been tainted a little bit. I don’t want to disparage the work of any of those movies, and some of them were interesting, but I feel like they just played in the world of The Terminator – it was essentially a different thing. T2 was just one of those events that was a f*cking revelation. It’s one of those films that everyone remembers what they were doing when they first saw it. I still don’t think I realize what I’m doing trying to follow that up…”

The new story will introduce the next generation of characters played by Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049, Halt and Catch Fire), Natalia Reyes (Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas), Gabriel Luna (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Diego Boneta (Scream Queen, Rock of Ages).

Produced by James Cameron and David Ellison, the upcoming Terminator movie will be a direct sequel to Cameron’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The film is executive produced by Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn, Tim Miller, John Kelly, and Edward Cheng.

The Skydance movie will be distributed domestically by Paramount Pictures and internationally by Disney’s 20th Century Fox. Tencent Pictures will distribute the film in China. Terminator: Dark Fate is scheduled for a November 1, 2019 release and will be rated R.
