New Midway Trailer: The Roland Emmerich Film Opens Nov. 8

Following the 13 character posters (view in the gallery below), Lionsgate has now also brought online the new Midway trailer. The new Roland Emmerich film will open in theaters on November 8. In case you missed it, the first trailer is still available here.

Midway centers on the Battle of Midway, a clash between the American fleet and the Imperial Japanese Navy which marked a pivotal turning point in the Pacific Theater during WWII. The film, based on the real-life events of this heroic feat, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers who used their instincts, fortitude and bravery to overcome the odds. The film stars Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans, Aaron Eckhart, Nick Jonas, Etsushi Toyokawa, Tadanobu Asano, Luke Kleintank, Jun Kunimura, Darren Criss, Keean Johnson, Alexander Ludwig, with Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, Woody Harrelson.

The script for Midway was written by Wes Tooke. Produced by Emmerich’s Centropolis Entertainment, the film is produced by Roland Emmerich, Harald Kloser, and Mark Gordon.

Starlight Entertainment Group and Providence Entertainment Limited are financing Midway. U.S. and China theatrical distribution is set with Lionsgate through its Summit Entertainment label stateside and Bona Film Group will release the movie in Greater China.
