Netflix has announced the Big Mouth Season 3 premiere date has been set for October 4th and revealed the key art and the first images. The key art features the new tagline: “Equal parts shock & aww.”
Big Mouth is a half-hour edgy adult animated comedy from real-life best friends Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg about the glorious nightmare that is teenage puberty. Comedian John Mulaney lends his voice to the character of Andrew, while Kroll (who serves as co-creator, executive producer) voices many including best friend Nick.
Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein are among those who lend their voice to the series. Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg and screenwriter-directors Mark Levin & Jennifer Flackett are all creators and executive producers on the series. Big Mouth is a Netflix production.
It was recently announced that the series had been renewed for three more seasons on the streaming service. Netflix has also signed Brutus Pink, the newly formed animation production company from Nick Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett — the creative team behind Big Mouth — to a multi-year deal to produce animated series and films for its members worldwide.
The second season launched on October 5. The first 10-episode season of Big Mouth premiered on September 29, 2017. A special Big Mouth: My Furry Valentine also launched on the streaming service on February 8, 2019.
