New Army of the Dead Image Featuring Zack Snyder

Director Zack Snyder has revealed a new behind-the-scenes Army of the Dead image with which he is thanking the creators of the RED cameras they are using. He says: “Want to say a special thank you to Jarred Land at Red Digital Cinema for building our amazing cameras. They’re killing it.”

Coming to NetflixArmy of the Dead is filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico and a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In addition to the new Army of the Dead image, you can still view the previously-posted cast photo in the gallery below as well.

The Army of the Dead cast includes Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Sweetbitter), Ana De La Reguera (Everything, Everything, Goliath), Theo Rossi (Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy), Huma Qureshi (Kaala, Viceroy’s House, Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur), Dave Bautista (Avengers: Endgame, StuberMy Spy), Omari Hardwick (Power, Sorry to Bother You), Chris D’Elia (You, Man on Fire), Hiroyuki Sanada (Avengers: Endgame, Westworld, Minamata), Garret Dillahunt (Widows, No Country for Old Men), Matthias Schweighöfer (You Are Wanted, Resistance), Raúl Castillo (We the Animals, Vida), Nora Arnezeder (Maniac, Mozart in the Jungle), Samantha Win (Arrow, Justice League), and Rich Cetrone (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Solo: A Star Wars Story).

In Army of the Dead, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble in Las Vegas: venturing into a quarantine zone following a zombie outbreak to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Snyder directs and also produces the zombie horror thriller with his partner and wife, Deborah Snyder, via their rebranded production company, Stone Quarry. The company’s Wesley Coller is also producing. Snyder came up with the story for the film, which has a script by Joby Harold and Zack Snyder & Shay Hatten.




Snyder launched his feature directorial career with the hit 2004 film Dawn of the Dead. He has since directed such high-profile pics as 300WatchmenMan of Steel, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
