Adam Sandler Netflix Comedy Nabs Kevin James, Maya Rudolph

The cast for the next Netflix comedy from Adam Sandler has been revealed. The project is as-yet-untitled, but we know it is set during Halloween. The cast will include Kevin James (Sandy Wexler), Julie Bowen (Modern Family), Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), Steve Buscemi (Fargo), Rob Schneider (The Hot Chick), Michael Chiklis (The Shield) and Kenan Thompson (Saturday Night Live).

Directing the untitled comedy is Steve Brill. The script comes from Sandler and Tim Herlihy. The story is about Hubie Dubois, who, despite his devotion to his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts (and its legendary Halloween celebration), is a figure of mockery for kids and adults alike. But this year, something really is going bump in the night, and it’s up to Hubie to save Halloween.

The rest of the cast of the Adam Sandler Netflix comedy includes China Anne McClain, Paris Berelc, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, June Squibb, Shaquille O’Neal, Karan Brar, Noah Schnapp, Mikey Day, Melissa Villaseñor, Kym Whitley, Lavell Crawford, Betsy Sodaro, George Wallace, and Blake Clark.

Sandler’s last Netflix film was Murder Mystery with Jennifer Aniston. The streaming film had the biggest opening weekend for a Netflix film with over 30 million accounts watching. You can read our review right here.
