First Army of the Dead Photo Released by Zack Snyder

Zack Snyder has revealed the first Army of the Dead photo! In his Vero post, he says: “Couldn’t make it to #SDCC2019 because we’re busy killing zombies.” You can get a bigger look at the Army of the Dead photo using the gallery below.

Army of the Dead is currently filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico and once they wrap there, the production will move to a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The Army of the Dead cast includes Ella Purnell (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Sweetbitter), Ana De La Reguera (Everything, Everything, Goliath), Theo Rossi (Luke Cage, Sons of Anarchy), Huma Qureshi (Kaala, Viceroy’s House, Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur), Dave Bautista (Avengers: Endgame, StuberMy Spy), Omari Hardwick (Power, Sorry to Bother You), Chris D’Elia (You, Man on Fire), Hiroyuki Sanada (Avengers: Endgame, Westworld, Minamata), Garret Dillahunt (Widows, No Country for Old Men), Matthias Schweighöfer (You Are Wanted, Resistance), Raúl Castillo (We the Animals, Vida), Nora Arnezeder (Maniac, Mozart in the Jungle), Samantha Win (Arrow, Justice League), and Rich Cetrone (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Solo: A Star Wars Story).

In Army of the Dead, a group of mercenaries take the ultimate gamble in Las Vegas: venturing into a quarantine zone following a zombie outbreak to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.

Snyder directs and also produces the zombie horror thriller with his partner and wife, Deborah Snyder, via their rebranded production company, Stone Quarry. The company’s Wesley Coller is also producing. Snyder came up with the story for the film, which has a script by Joby Harold and Zack Snyder & Shay Hatten.

Snyder launched his feature directorial career with the hit 2004 film Dawn of the Dead. He has since directed such high-profile pics as 300WatchmenMan of Steel, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
