Fast and Furious 9 Cast Shares Updates from London Filming

-

Filming has kicked off in London and the Fast and Furious 9 cast has already posted some updates on their social accounts. Below, you can view two videos from Vin Diesel featuring Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster, as well as the son of Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Toretto (Brewster).

Ludacris also posted an update and director Justin Lin shared the film slate from the first day of filming on June 24, 2019.

Fast and Furious 9 has been set for a May 22, 2020 release. Lin is also directing the 10th installment, which is coming to theaters on April 2, 2021. The cast also includes the recently-announced John Cena, who is said to be playing “a badass.”

Dan Casey wrote the screenplay from a story by Justin Lin. Diesel is producing through his One Race Films and Lin for Perfect Storm Entertainment.

Before the next two Fast & Furious main saga films hit theaters, we’re getting the first spin-off, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, on August 2, 2019. The film features Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs, Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw, and Idris Elba’s international terrorist leader and criminal mastermind, Brixton. David Leitch (Deadpool 2) directed the film, also starring Vanessa Kirby as an MI6 agent and Owen and Deckhard’s sister, Eiza González as Madam M, Eddie Marsan, and Ellie Nicole.
