Have you been speculating on what those Marvel teasers with the spider webs were? You know, the ones with the 4, 3, 2 and then 1 on them? Some people originally thought this signaled that the old Sam Raimi unmade Spider-Man 4 was happening, or that we were getting a Spider-Man comic about the film, but we now know what it is.
Today the Spider-Man Twitter handle posted a video that gives us the answer. In September, we’re getting a new Spider-Man comic from J.J. Abrams and Henry Abrams, with art from Sara Pichelli. It’s a comic mini-series that has a limited run, and there is a new villain named Cadaverous in the story. Check out the tweet below.

You even get a sneak peek at the cover at the end of the video. J.J. Abrams is, of course, the director of the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker, which will hit theaters this December.
What do you guys think of the idea of a J.J. Abrams Spider-Man comic? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
