NBC has released clips from this weekend’s Saturday Night Live episode, which featured Emma Thompson making her hosting debut. The show opened with the Meet the Press Cold Open, in which Chuck Todd (Kyle Mooney) interviews Senators Lindsey Graham (Kate McKinnon), Susan Collins (Cecily Strong) and Mitch McConnell (Beck Bennett) about supporting President Trump.
In addition to the Meet the Press Cold Open, you can also check out Emma Thompson’s monologue, in which she helps decipher what your mother is really saying with the help of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the full Weekend Update and the two Jonas Brothers performances. The Jonas Brothers sang both “Sucker” and “Cool/Burnin’ Up” live.
We’ve also included the “Twinings Xtreme” commercial that was cut for time and advertises a new British sports drink.
Next Saturday, Avengers: Endgame star Paul Rudd returns to Saturday Night Live for the fourth time as host for the season finale on May 18. GRAMMY-nominated multiplatinum artist DJ Khaled will make his SNL debut as musical guest.
Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
