Designated Survivor Season 3 Trailer Revealed by Netflix

Netflix has brought online the official Designated Survivor Season 3 trailer. The third season will launch on the streaming service on June 7th. If you missed it, you can still watch Kiefer Sutherland’s recap of the first two seasons here. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream exclusively on Netflix in the U.S. and Canada.

The political drama, starring Kiefer Sutherland, is helmed by showrunner Neal Baer from global studio Entertainment One (eOne). The series was picked up for 10 more episodes following its cancellation by ABC. The first season aired on ABC in 2016 and was followed by the second season in 2017.

In Designated Survivor Season 3, President Kirkman (Sutherland) will face a political reality… campaigning. What does it take to make a leader? What price will he be willing to pay? This season will explore today’s world of campaigning, smear tactics, debates, campaign finance and “fake news.” Democracy, as we know it, will hang in the balance.

The creator of Designated Survivor is David Guggenheim. The executive producers are Mark Gordon, Kiefer Sutherland, Suzan Bymel, Simon Kinberg, Aditya Sood, and Peter Noah.
