Operating on Chingona Level in the Vida Season 2 Trailer

Starz has released the official Vida Season 2 trailer! The second season of the award-winning and critically-acclaimed series will make its world premiere tonight as an Official Selection of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

All 10 half-hour episodes of Vida Season 2 will be made available beginning on Thursday, May 23 on the STARZ app and STARZ On-Demand in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on STARZPLAY in the U.K., Germany and Spain. In addition to the full-season release of Vida on the STARZ app, STARZ On-Demand and STARZPLAY, Vida will air weekly on STARZ beginning on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 9 PM ET/PT.

In the second season of Vida, Lyn (Melissa Barrera) and Emma (Mishel Prada) begin the monumental task of rebuilding their mother’s business while navigating financial constraints, competing developers and the growing anti-gentrification movement. Lyn and Emma must contemplate the relationships in their lives, including their own, and they are forced to dig deep to unearth what their mother’s legacy means to them.

Vida also stars Ser Anzoategui, Chelsea Rendon, Carlos Miranda and Roberta Colindrez. The series is created by Tanya Saracho, who executive produced the series alongside Beach TV’s Robin Schwartz, Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub, as well as Stephanie Langhoff.
