Netflix Renews Nailed It! for a Third Season

-

If you love TV shows based on Internet memes, this is going to be great news. Netflix has renewed the baking show Nailed It! for a third season. The series will return for six episodes on May 17.

The show has host Nicole Byer and legendary pastry chef Jacques Torres along with a celebrity guest judge taking on bakers who aren’t exactly masters of their craft.

In Nailed It!, not-so-great bakers are asked to recreate a delicious creation prepared by a professional to win a $10,000 prize. Earlier prizes in the episode include a very shiny gold chef hat and baking tools. There are two challenges. The first one is the Baker’s Choice, which gets you the hat (and a lot of glitter on your face). The second one, Nail It or Fail It gives you time to recreate a cake and includes a Panic Button which has Torres giving you advice in French, or Byer annoying the other contestants in some cases. Nailed It! has even had a Queer Eye crossover episode.

The series is produced by Magical Elves, and executive producers Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Casey Kriley, Patrick J. Doody, Daniel Calin and Gayle Gawlowski. Jo Sharon is co-executive producer.
