Netflix’s Jingle Jangle Musical Adds Four More


Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael Key (The Lion King), Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad (Creed, Empire), Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog, Power) and newcomer Madalen Mills have joined Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker (Black Panther, Empire) in writer/director David E. Talbert’s family holiday musical, Jingle Jangle.

Jingle Jangle is scheduled to start shooting in 2019 and will be released by Netflix in 2020.

A cobblestone world comes to life in the event holiday musical tale of an embattled toymaker (Forest Whitaker), his precocious granddaughter (Madelen Mills), and a magical invention, that if they can get it to work in time for the holidays, could change their lives forever.

The producers of Jingle Jangle are Mike Jackson, John Legend, David E. Talbert, Lyn Sisson-Talbert, Kristin Burr, and David McIlvain. Ty Stiklorius and Vicki Dee Rock are the executive producers.
