Birds of Prey Set Photos Tease a Returning Suicide Squad Character

-

Margot Robbie has been filming the Birds of Prey movie in Los Angeles the last two nights and Just Jared has photos from both nights. You can view the Birds of Prey set photos via the tweets below.

The first night, the actress was seen serving up margaritas while playing Harley Quinn and earlier was spotted driving a vintage car. Last night, Robbie was photographed filming a scene with The Joker, with the latter throwing Harley Quinn’s belongings out of a window while she tried to catch them. It’s unknown who is playing The Joker in the scene, but it’s not Jared Leto as he is filming Morbius in England.

In addition to Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, the cast of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) includes Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, and Ewan McGregor as the villain Black Mask. Also appearing are Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Steven Williams, Derek Wilson, Dana Lee, Francois Chau, and Matthew Willig.

Birds of Prey will have Harley Quinn, Huntress, and Black Canary teaming up to protect Cain when she comes across a diamond belonging to Black Mask, a kingpin in Gotham City’s criminal underworld.

Cathy Yan will direct the Warner Bros. release from a script by Christina Hodson. Birds of Prey will be produced by Robbie, Kroll & Co Entertainment’s Sue Kroll, and Clubhouse Pictures’ Bryan Unkeless. Warner Bros. and DC have set a February 7, 2020 release date for the film.
