Supernatural Season 15 to Be the Long-Running Show’s Last

-

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki took to their social channels today to announce that Supernatural Season 15 will be the series’ last.

“Well, it’s official. One more round for the Winchester brothers. Though nothing ever really ends in Supernatural…does it?” Ackles said.

Padalecki added: “Dear #spnfamily, Season 1 @jensenackles and I want you to know that next season, SEASON 15, will be the last season of #supernatural. I am so incredibly grateful for the family that we’ve all built together. I love y’all and am more appreciative of y’all than my meager vocabulary could hope to describe. I’m also typing through tears. So, please forgive me. ‘Til next time.”

The thrilling and terrifying journey of the Winchester brothers continued in Supernatural Season 14. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. Over the years, after countless bloody adventures, they have faced everything from the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother to vampires, ghosts, shapeshifters, angels and fallen gods. With the help of the fallen angel Castiel (Misha Collins), and the King of Hell, Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard), the Winchesters have straddled the line between good and evil.

Supernatural is produced by Kripke Enterprises Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television. The CW series is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers Jeremy Carver (Being Human) and Phil Sgriccia, and executive consultant Robert Singer (Midnight Caller).
