Hellboy Clip Has the Osiris Club Needing Help with Giants

Following the new Red Band (and Green Band) trailer and TV spots, Lionsgate has revealed (via ComingSoon.net) the first Hellboy clip as well. In the Hellboy clip, Ian McShane’s Professor Trevor Bruttenholm tells the title character that the Osiris Club has requested his help with a giant problem.

Opening in theaters on April 12, Hellboy has received an R rating for strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language. In the Neil Marshall-directed film, based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

The Hellboy cast includes David Harbour (Stranger Things) as the title character, Ian McShane (American GodsDeadwood) as Hellboy’s adoptive father, Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Milla Jovovich (upcoming Monster Hunter, Resident Evil films) as villain Nimue, aka the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) as the elder witch Ganeida, and Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0, Lost) as Major Ben Daimio.

Neil Marshall (The Descent, Game of Thrones) is directing from a script by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and the character’s creator, Mike Mignola. Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin produce with Mike Richardson of Dark Horse Entertainment.

Summit Entertainment presents, Millennium Films presents, a Lawrence Gordon/Lloyd Levin production, in association with Dark Horse Entertainment, a Nu Boyana production, in association with Campbell Grobman Films.
