Empire magazine has debuted a new photo in which you get a first look at the Men in Black: International villains played by twin identical brothers and dancers Laurent Nicolas and Larry Nicolas Bourgeois, also known as Les Twins.
According to the magazine, the Men in Black: International villains are shape-shifting extraterrestrials. “In their natural state, they’re pure energy,” VFX supervisor Jerome Chen says. “To blend in on this planet, they disguise themselves as humans. They do phase transitioning: changing state from solid to liquid, and back to any solid of their choosing. They can reform things and use them as projectiles. It’s a cool ability.”
Sony Pictures will release Men in Black: International in theaters on June 14, 2019. The movie is officially described as follows: “The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest, most global threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.”
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are reteaming for the film after starring together in Thor: Ragnarok. The cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Kumail Nanjiani, Rafe Spall, Laurent Bourgeois, Larry Bourgeois, Emma Thompson, and Liam Neeson.
F. Gary Gray (The Fate of the Furious) is directing the film from a script by Matt Holloway and Art Marcum. Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald, who produced the original movies, are back as producers. Steven Spielberg, E. Bennett Walsh, and Barry Sonnenfeld are the executive producers.
