First Look at Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong in Netflix’s Tuca & Bertie

“Two odd birds. One real friendship.” Today we have a first look video from the upcoming Netflix series Tuca & Bertie. You can check out the video below.

From creator Lisa Hanawalt and the creative minds behind BoJack Horseman, Tuca & Bertie launches globally on Nest-flix on Friday, May 3.

The series is an animated comedy series about the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building: Tuca (Tiffany Haddish), a cocky, care-free toucan, and Bertie (Ali Wong), an anxious, daydreaming songbird.

Lisa Hanawalt (BoJack Horseman) created the series, which consists of 10-episodes for its first season. Hanawalt is an executive producer alongside Raphael Bob-Waksberg (BoJack Horseman), Noel Bright (BoJack Horseman, Friends), Steven A. Cohen (BoJack Horseman, Jack & Bobby), Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong. The series is produced by Michael Eisner’s The Tornante Company and animation is done by ShadowMachine.

Series regulars for Tuca & Bertie include Tiffany Haddish, Ali Wong, Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead). There will be guest appearances from Nicole Byer (Nailed It, The Good Place), Richard E. Grant (Gosford Park), John Early (Search Party), Reggie Watts (Pitch Perfect 2), Tig Notaro (One Mississippi), Amber Ruffin (Key and Peele), Jermaine Fowler (Sorry to Bother You), Tessa Thompson (Thor: Ragnarok) and many more.
