Star Wars: Episode IX Panel Announced for Star Wars Celebration

-

With the culmination of the Skywalker Saga arriving before the end of the year, the just-announced Star Wars: Episode IX panel at Star Wars Celebration is one you will definitely not want to miss! With Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars: Episode IX director J.J. Abrams appearing on stage, you can count on plenty of surprises and special guests to keep your imagination buzzing for the rest of Celebration!

The Star Wars: Episode IX panel will be hosted on the Celebration Stage on Friday, April 12th, and will also be streamed to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages.

Also announced for Star Wars Celebration Chicago is the “Bringing Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Life” panel on Saturday, April 13. Join team members from Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm as they share stories about what it takes to bring Star Wars to life and how visitors can live their very own Star Wars stories. And, there might just be a few surprises, too! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is opening on May 31 at Disneyland Resort in Southern California and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.

In addition to the previously-announced Star Wars: Fallen Order panel on Saturday, April 13, Lucasfilm will also be holding three animation panels. On Sunday, April 14, get together with Dave Filoni and special guests to celebrate the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and share an exclusive sneak peek at things to come.

But first, on Saturday, April 13, join Filoni, Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, and Taylor Gray for the “Star Wars Rebels Remembered” panel. The Ghost crew went from a single scrappy crew of rebels to a vital part of the larger cause over four seasons.

And on Monday, April 15, it’s time to join the Resistance for a look back at the shocking season one finale and a preview of the second season of Star Wars Resistance with Executive Producers Justin Ridge, Athena Portillo, Brandon Auman, and members of the cast, including Christopher Sean, Suzie McGrath, Scott Lawrence, Myrna Velasco, and Donald Faison.
