Ahead of the launch of the highly-anticipated video game Kingdom Hearts III, the game’s original track “Face My Fears,” by internationally renowned singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada and eight-time Grammy Award-winning Skrillex, is available today. You can listen to the English version of the Kingdom Hearts III theme song above.
“Face My Fears” is the soundtrack to the game’s opening movie (watch below), which sets up players for the events to come in Kingdom Hearts III as the ultimate battle for light and life comes to an epic conclusion. With the help of his loyal companions Donald and Goofy, Sora will team up with iconic Disney and Pixar characters in an attempt to defeat the darkness and save the universe.
“Face My Fears” is available today in English and Japanese as part of the “Face My Fears” four-track EP. The EP also features “Don’t Think Twice,” another song by Utada and featured in Kingdom Hearts III.
In the upcoming action RPG, players can join forces with Donald Duck and Goofy for the adventure of a lifetime traveling across worlds based on beloved films like Disney•Pixar’s Toy Story and Monsters, Inc., and The Walt Disney Studios’ Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Frozen, and more.
Open now through January 31, Square Enix and Disney are bringing the magic of Kingdom Hearts III to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World Resort. The pop-up area features a playable demo, life-size Keyblades, art from the worlds, and the opportunity to pre-order the game and merchandise.
Kingdom Hearts III will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29. You can watch all the previously-released trailers by clicking here.
