Go Behind the Scenes of Star Trek: Discovery Season 2

Following last week’s official trailer and posterCBS All Access has also brought online a behind-the-scenes look at Star Trek: Discovery Season 2. The second season will premiere on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Following the premiere, all new episodes of the show’s 14-episode second season will be available on-demand weekly on Thursdays. Star Trek: Discovery follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series features a new ship and new characters while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 stars Sonequa Martin-Green (Commander Michael Burnham), Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Shazad Latif (Ash Tyler), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), Mary Chieffo (L’Rell), Anson Mount (Captain Christopher Pike), Rebecca Romijn (Number One), and Ethan Peck (Spock).

The series is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout, Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment. The executive producers are Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth.
