Molly Shannon (Divorce, Other People, SNL), Glynn Turman (Queen Sugar, How To Get Away With Murder, Bumblebee), Michael Ian Black (Insatiable, Another Period, This is 40, Wet Hot American Summer) and Debbi Morgan (Power) will join the supporting cast of Sextuplets, starring Marlon Wayans and Bresha Webb (Marlon).
Principal photography has commenced in Atlanta and Netflix will release the Michael Tiddes-directed film globally in 2019. The script was written by Mike Glock (Return of the Mac), Rick Alvarez and Marlon Wayans.
Sextuplets tells the story of Alan (Marlon Wayans), a man embarking on a personal journey to meet his birth mother before the arrival of his first child. When Alan meets his brother, Russell, he discovers that he was born a sextuplet and decides to seek out his four other siblings (all played by Wayans). Together, the two brothers set out on a road trip to track down the rest of the family that they’ve never known, and Alan quickly realizes he may have gotten more than he bargained for.
Marlon Wayans and Rick Alvarez (White Chicks, Naked) and Nathan Reimann are producing.
Netflix previously partnered with Wayans, Alvarez and Tiddes on Naked, a remake of the 2000 Swedish film Naken.
