Medal of Honor Series Launching on Netflix November 9

Medal of Honor launches globally on November 9

Netflix’s gripping and intimate original docuseries, Medal of Honor, celebrates eight recipients of the military’s highest award for valor — bestowed upon fewer than 3,600 Americans since President Abraham Lincoln signed it into law in 1861. In the Medal of Honor series, family members and brothers-in-arms recall the extraordinary odds faced by the servicemen, and through intense recreations and archival footage, viewers get inside their minds to uncover how they handled what many have described as “the worst day of their lives.”

The Medal of Honor series is produced by Allentown Productions and Compari Entertainment. It is executive produced by Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy winner James Moll, Oscar and Golden Globe winner Robert Zemeckis, Jack Rapke, and Jacqueline Levine, and Brandon Birtell.

“James Moll is a talented storyteller, and we were looking for just the right project to work with him on. Medal of Honor is the ideal collaboration for us. James’ documentary skills combined with our live action techniques bring to a compelling light the important recognition of these brave individuals,” says Zemeckis. “We can not think of a better way to give back to the military community than by telling these incredibly heroic true stories.”
