Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy are teaming up for 20th Century Fox action-comedy Free Guy, according to Deadline. Berlanti Productions’ Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter are producing alongside Reynolds’ Maximum Effort, Levy’s 21 Laps, and Adam Kolbrenner.

In Free Guy, a bank teller stuck in his routine discovers he’s a background character in a rather brutal open world, action-adventure video game and he is the only one capable of saving his world.

Written by Matt Lieberman, the film will be executive produced by George Dewey. Mike Ireland is overseeing for 20th Century Fox.

Reynolds is currently filming Michael Bay’s 6 Underground and he’ll next appear in Pokemon Detective Pikachu, opening in theaters on May 10, 2019.
