Superman and Lois Lane will appear on The CW‘s superhero crossover! Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman, while producers are now casting the role of Lois Lane for the three-night crossover. Hoechlin will appear in all three episodes of the crossover
“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse. This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters,” Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner said.
Hoechlin will appear in all three episodes of the crossover, which stars Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., followed by Arrow on Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. and concluding Dec. 11 at the same time with Supergirl.
The network yesterday announced the dates of its annual superhero crossover event. The crossover this December will include episodes from The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is not part of the crossover this year.
The Flash episode will air on Sunday, December 9th, and will be followed by Arrow on Monday, December 10th, and Supergirl on Tuesday, December 11th. This means that for this year’s superhero crossover, The Flash and Supergirl will swap time periods for this one time only.
The crossover will also mark the first appearance of Batwoman, played by Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black). She will play the role in the Batwoman series in development for the 2019-20 season as well.
