Renée Zellweger to Star in Netflix Thriller What/If

The effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things

Netflix has announced that Renée Zellweger will star in a new original drama series titled What/If, from creator Mike Kelley. The series will consist of 10 hour-long episodes.

Social thriller What/If explores the ripple effects of what happens when acceptable people start doing unacceptable things. Each season will tackle a different morality tale inspired by culturally consequential source material, and the power of a single fateful decision to change the trajectory of an entire life.

The series stars Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger (Cold Mountain, Jerry Maguire, Chicago, Bridget Jones movies) in the role of Anne. In her distinguished career, Zellweger has  received three Golden Globe and SAG awards.

Mike Kelley (RevengeSwingtown) is the writer and showrunner. He will executive produce with Page Fright’s Melissa Loy, Alex Gartner and Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment, and Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke of Compari Entertainment. Compari’s Jackie Levine will co-executive produce.
