While the Wayward Sisters spin-off isn’t happening, we’ll still get to see them on the upcoming 14th season of Supernatural. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Wayward characters will all return.
“All of the characters are going to make their return one way or the other,” Supernatural showrunner Andrew Dabb tells the magazine. “We found a way to fold [them] organically into the plot line, and some of the hanging chads from the pilot last year ended up dovetailing nicely with some of the stuff Michael’s looking to do, and some of the stuff that’s going on in our world just generally. It all folds together pretty well, but they’ll definitely be in multiple episodes this season.”
The 14th season of Supernatural will return to The CW on Thursday, October 11 in its 8/7c time period. The series is produced by Kripke Enterprises Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The series is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers Jeremy Carver (Being Human) and Phil Sgriccia, and executive consultant Robert Singer (Midnight Caller).
Supernatural: The Complete Thirteenth Season is available now on Digital, and will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 4.
