At the San Diego Comic-Con, Freeform announced it had given the green light to a second season of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger. Now we know when you can expect the Cloak & Dagger Season 2 premiere! In a social post released by the show, it was announced that you can expect new episodes in Spring 2019. The first two episodes of the first season debuted on June 7, 2018.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly-discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.
Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is a coming-of-age series based on the beloved comic characters. Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) come from starkly different backgrounds, each growing up with a secret they never dared share with another soul. The series is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios.

Joe Pokaski (Underground, Heroes) serves as showrunner and executive producer, Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Iron Fist), Marvel’s Head of Television and Jim Chory (Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Iron Fist) also serve as executive producers.
The series also stars Andrea Roth (Rescue Me, Blue Bloods), Gloria Reuben (ER, Mr. Robot), Miles Mussenden (Bloodline, Queen Sugar), Carl Lundstedt (Grey’s Anatomy, Conviction) James Saito (Life of Pi, The Devil’s Advocate), and J.D. Evermore (True Detective, The Walking Dead). Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios.
