Peter Dinklage in the I Think We’re Alone Now Trailer

Elle Fanning and Paul Giamatti also star in the post-apocalyptic thriller

The first trailer for I Think We’re Alone Now has arrived and features Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage. The film is directed by Reed Morano, who is executive producer on The Handmaid’s Tale and has also helmed episodes of the hit series.

In the movie, Del (Peter Dinklage) is alone in the world. After the human race is wiped out, he lives in his small, empty town, content in his solitude and the utopia he’s methodically created for himself – until he is discovered by Grace (Elle Fanning), an interloper whose history and motives are obscure. Worse yet, she wants to stay.

The post-apocalyptic thriller also stars Paul Giamatti. It was written by Mike Makowsky (Take Me), and produced by Fred Berger (La La Land, The Autopsy of Jane Doe) and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Loving, Sinister, Insidious, Collide).

I Think We’re Alone Now debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January and received the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Excellence in Filmmaking.

Momentum Pictures will release the film in select Los Angeles and New York theaters on September 14 and will expand the movie more on September 21.
