Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, and The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira is reportedly may join two massive productions. According to Deadline, the actress is in early talks to star in Godzilla vs. Kong, which Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have already set for a May 22, 2020 release date.
Gurira would be joining Millie Bobby Brown (Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Stranger Things) and Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2, Hunt for the Wilderpeople) in Adam Wingard-directed film.
Danai Gurira is also said to be circling the next Star Trek movie at Paramount Pictures. S.J. Clarkson has signed to direct the movie, which is expected to bring back both Chris Pine as Kirk and Chris Hemsworth as his father, George. J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay co-wrote the screenplay, and J.J. Abrams and Lindsey Weber are producing.
The so-called Star Trek 4 (for now) is a separate project form the one Quentin Tarantino is working on.
