Sugarland has released the music video for their new single, “Babe,” co-written by Taylor Swift. Swift, who appears in the video opposite Brandon Routh (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) and band members Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, is the one who came up with the idea for the video. “She actually reached out to us and said, ‘I’ve got a great idea for the video,’ and she wrote the treatment,” Nettles told People. “And we looked at it and said, ‘Oh my gosh, this is awesome,'” added Bush.
The video was shot a couple of weeks ago on the Los Angeles set of the AMC series Mad Men. The song, co-written by Train’s Pat Monahan, was originally supposed to appear on Swift’s 2012 album, “Red,” but it didn’t make the final cut. It now appears on Sugarland’s just-released album, “Bigger.”
Swift also provided back-up vocals for the song.
